Dual Credit

Students earn dual credits for classes that meet both high school and college requirements. Dual credit courses are taught in high school, at local colleges and through distance education.

All students should have the opportunity to take dual credit coursework. Talk with your student's school counselor to get more information on:

  • The costs involved (typically students pay reduced tuition and fees, but costs vary considerably depending upon the college offering the coursework).
  • The transferability of the course credits across Indiana colleges and universities.
