Looking for materials you can use in your classroom?

Your school should receive a shipment each fall with a variety of materials that you can use to help your students start thinking about college. You can track your school’s shipment by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. The materials are also available for download by clicking on the menu items below, along with some additional resources that you may find helpful.

College GO! — getting ready for college and finding the right school (Aug – Nov). Help students explore college options through research and campus visits, and guide them through the steps they need to take to prepare and apply.

Your school should receive a kit in the fall of each school year that will include materials to help you facilitate three campaigns in your school. The three campaigns are designed to help students think about college planning based on three key areas: Career, College and Cost. While high school students should be most focused on college planning, you can also plan activities for middle and elementary students, as well, to get them started thinking about their future careers and college plans.

Career Ready — planning your career path (Apr – Jul). Help students discover their career interests through career fairs, interests assessments, professional speakers and more.

To help your seniors plan for the transition to college, download our College Success Guide to share with students. There’s also an accompanying Facilitator’s Manual, provided here as one comprehensive PDF or as individual lesson plans, to help you conduct classroom lessons and activities to help seniors prepare for college.

One student from each grade will be randomly chosen to win $529 in a CollegeChoice 529 Direct Savings Plan account. Just fill out the form for your grade level and return it to your teacher. Teachers are encouraged to collect the entries and submit them to Learn More Indiana with examples on how they use the Learn More Magazines in their classroom. The 10 schools with the highest percentage of entries will win $1,000 to support college and career readiness for their students.
