Looking for materials you can use in your classroom?

Your school should receive a shipment each fall with a variety of materials that you can use to help your students start thinking about college. You can track your school’s shipment by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. The materials are also available for download by clicking on the menu items below, along with some additional resources that you may find helpful.

Your school should receive a kit in the fall of each school year that will include materials to help you facilitate three campaigns in your school. The three campaigns are designed to help students think about college planning based on three key areas: Career, College and Cost. While high school students should be most focused on college planning, you can also plan activities for middle and elementary students, as well, to get them started thinking about their future careers and college plans.

Career Ready — planning your career path (Apr – Jul). Help students discover their career interests through career fairs, interests assessments, professional speakers and more.

College GO! — getting ready for college and finding the right school (Aug – Nov). Help students explore college options through research and campus visits, and guide them through the steps they need to take to prepare and apply.

Cash for College — learning how to pay for it all (Dec – Mar). Help students and their families learn how to pay for their college education.

Learn More Indiana publishes student success guides for every age level, from kindergarten to adults, designed to help students take the right steps to prepare for and succeed in college. Accompanying Educator Guides for grades K-8 contain printer-friendly activities, lesson plans and more. The Educator Guides help counselors, teachers and others who work with students focus on college and careers in their classrooms while meeting state standards.

To help your seniors plan for the transition to college, download our College Success Guide to share with students. There’s also an accompanying Facilitator’s Manual, provided here as one comprehensive PDF or as individual lesson plans, to help you conduct classroom lessons and activities to help seniors prepare for college.
