The Indiana Reading List contains great age-appropriate books for your student to read or for both of you to read together. They were picked with Indiana’s Academic Standards in English/Language Arts in mind, so reading them at home helps reinforce learning from school.
There are many great books out there, and Indiana’s Reading List does not contain all of them. Also, since the Indiana Reading List contains recommendations, please check with your local school to see if there is a required reading list for your student’s grade.
