As part of Indiana ’s school accountability system, Core 40 End-of-Course Assessments (ECAs) are designed to ensure the quality, consistency, and rigor of Core 40 courses across the state. The Graduation Qualifying Exam (GQE) ensures that Indiana high school graduates have mastered and are able to apply basic knowledge and skills in reading, writing and mathematics. In Indiana, all students in grades 3 through 10 take the Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus (ISTEP+). |
