Meet the New Face of Learn More Indiana: Steven Thompson
The votes are in: Steven Thompson, a junior at North Central High School, is the new Learn More Indiana Spokesperson. He will star in radio and television advertisements that teach students the importance of taking challenging courses in high school, and will promote college access and success at future events including high school functions and the annual Back to School Bus Tour with Russ Parr at the Indiana State Fair.
Steven is a great example of a student that has really jump-started their future. Getting involved in and outside of school will help gain the skills set and knowledge to help prepare for your future. Here are just a few of Steven's accomplishments:

As the Assistant Director of Operations to the Kaledioscope Youth Center, Steven wrote to the United Way of Central Indiana and was awarded the Technology Grant.

Steven placed 3rd at the Indiana Association of School Broadcasting Competition.

Already in the broadcasting industry, Steven is a Disc Jockey and News Reporter for WJEL 89.3FM.

Steven attended the 56th Inauguration in Washington, D.C.

Steven also serves as a member on the MSD Washington Township Wellness Committee, NCHS Alumni Hall of Fame Committee and NCHS PL221.

Meet the Runner Up, Conner Ayers from Franklin Central High School:
Conner Ayers, a senior at Franklin Central High School, plans to attend IU Bloomington in the Fall of 2009 and major in Spanish. Throughout his high school career, Conner has been involved in athletics including Cross Country and Track and Field. Outside of school and sports, he is also a member to the SADD Club, National Honors Society and Student Ambassadors. Fun Fact: Conner is a triplet!
